Adoption Update

It's been 5 and a half weeks since we received our referral and we've been waiting for word that our dossier was at least on its way to Taiwan before posting anything more. (Although you'll notice I added her picture to the blog header some weeks ago!)

We submitted the last bit of the dossier (notarized health forms) on June 10th. Since then, our dossier has been sent to the translator, then sent to TECO for authentication. Rumor has it that it will be leaving for Taiwan this coming week. I hope so! I don't have any idea how long it will take to get entered into the courts in Taiwan....but I am hoping that will happen before July is over. It feels like we're running in place.

Since I haven't officially posted referral pictures, here they are! Introducing our youngest daughter, Hui-Min, born Nov. 5, 2007.

Our last update was a few weeks ago. (We're due for a new one!) At that time she was just over 7 months old, and weighed 14 pounds. She is now 8 months old and we're eagerly awaiting our next update.
