I have a good excuse

I've been on the other side of the country holding my first grandchild! Yes, it's true, my daughter had her baby girl and Alex is an uncle at the tender age of 2. Ella Cassady was born January 12th at 9:54 a.m., (Eastern Standard Time). Vitals: 6 lbs 14 oz and 20" long. Two days later I was there holding her! Five days after that I was headed home with tears in my eyes. She's much too far away. Congratulations Jill & Craig. Welcome to the world Ella!
