Alex and I were on another major cross-country trip this past month. First a business trip in Washington DC, then on to visit friends and family in Virginia, Pennsylvania and Connecticut. As usual Alex was a terrific traveler. While I worked Alex and big sister Kerry rode the train and visited the zoo (7 times in 4 days). Alex became an expert at unlocking the hotel room, inserting and removing the plastic card key, calling the elevator, guessing which elevator door would open first, and generally going with the flow.
