Did I say end of August?
Before I had even made it into work this morning we received a call from our agency. We have a first decree! We'll be traveling to Taiwan in September to bring her home!!! Wow! That was fast. Happy Birthday to me. It was a great birthday surprise.

Hey, I am so happy for you.Jessica just shared me the grat news. She got your first decree yesterday. Wow there were two Heartsent families getting first decree after sending papers to the court for two weeks. Wow, it has been breaking the record.Mostly it takes about 2~6 months to get through in the court past years. I am so excited to see you again. Do you bring Alex to come visit us? Mei Chun
Hi! Your baby is just beautiful. We are about to embark on the journey of adoption. My husband is 48 & I will be 41 this year. Your story is encouraging, b/c we have been told be several agencies we are 'too old' for a lot of countries. Thank you for the encouragement you didn't realize you sent! : )

Congratulations on the first decree. When did you submit your application and dossier for your baby to receive a referral in May? We are in process and would like to have some idea of your timelines if you are willing to share:)
